Slow Cooker Garlic Herb Butter Turkey Breast
Ingredients:
- 5 lb turkey breast (with skin)
- 150g salted butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme (finely chopped)
- 2 sprigs fresh sage (finely chopped)
- 3 sprigs fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Olive oil
Garlic Butter Gravy
- 1.5L chicken stock
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 30g unsalted butter
Instructions:
- Mix all finely chopped herbs and garlic with butter
- Pat turkey breast dry
- Remove the skin carefully using a knife
- Spread garlic butter all over the surface of the breast
- Put turkey breast in slow cooker for 4 hours at 145°F
- Spray the skin with olive oil , then season it with salt and pepper
- Spread the skin out on a parchment paper
- Bake in the oven at 350°F until golden brown
- Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan and add flour
- Stir constantly until golden brown
- Add chicken stock and whisk constantly
- Bring to a boil, simmer and cook until thickened
- Pour the gravy on the sliced turkey and break the skin into bite sized pieces
- Serve and enjoy
